The Beauty Therapy Insitute (BTI) has successfully been offering students Health, Beauty and Skincare Education and Training for 20 years now. With BTI’s New Payment Plan we wish to help young South Africans realise their dreams and create an independent future that will not only benefit them, but also the economy. “Students who only dreamt of having a career in the beauty industry, can now realise their aspirations with our ‘PAY AS YOU STUDY’ method,” says BTI founder Sandy Fuhr.
In today’s difficult economic landscape, job seekers find it especially hard to acquire sufficient employment. One way to better your chances of being employed in South Africa’s competitive job market is further education or skill-specific training. But as recent events have shown that while there is a demand with South Africans for education and skill development, socio-economic circumstances do not always allow them to make use of these opportunities.
The New Payment Plan allows students wanting to do Individual Courses such as Manicure & Pedicure, Facial courses and even Business Administration to pay a 50% deposit of their course fees, a further 25% once they have completed half of their hours and their final 25% course fees once they have completed three quarters of their hours.
For our Combination Courses, students that pay the full amount upfront, receive 10% discount. However payment plans are available to student who are not able to pay the full amount upfront. Should they wish to make use of the Payment Plan, students will need to pay a 50% deposit and receive a 5% discount when it is paid upfront, where after they will be expected to pay 25% of the course fee balance at the end of the first month and the remaining 25% of the course fee balance at the end of the second month.
All classes are kept small to ensure one-on-one contact between students and educators. This has allowed BTI exceptional success in the Health, Beauty and Skincare Therapy’s external National or International examinations held annually.
Sandy Fuhr is the only South African on CIDESCO’s International Board – aimed at ensuring that students receive superior training and qualifications in Spa and Beauty Therapy recognised worldwide. All Beauty Therapy Institutes are registered to offer ITEC (British) outcomes, and some offer additional examination opportunities from either SAAHSP (South African) or CIDESCO (Swiss). This in turn not only opens employment doors for student in the local job market, but also internationally, particularly on Cruise ships which is a great attraction for young, up-and-coming Beauty Therapists. Upon completion of their courses, all graduates are also guaranteed a job interview with Sorbet.
BTI currently has ten campuses for students to choose from – Woodstock and Somerset West in the Western Cape, Randburg or Rivonia in Gauteng, Walvis Bay or Windhoek in Namibia, Lagos in Nigeria, Bloemfontein in the Free State and the newest campus in Durban, Kwazulu Natal.
